In 1949, a small building was dedicated as the Austin Cerebral Palsy Center serving a small population of Central Texas residents. DAY-TO-DAY FOR A NONPROFIT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER This full-time nonprofit management position in human services works during the day . As a Nonprofit Educational Program Manager, you are the heart and soul of our child development program! You wear many hats and lead with positivity, ensuring that our program runs smoothly and provides the best possible experience for children with autism or disabilities and their families. You're a natural-born leader, managing our staff with ease and implementing ongoing training to help them succeed in their roles. You're a mentor to all lead staff members, helping them to achieve their goals and supporting them every step of the way. You oversee the schedule, hiring, and performance evaluations, making sure that everything runs like clockwork. Your passion for helping children shines through in everything you do. You design education programs and activities that promote exploration, sensory stimulation, and appropriate communication for clients of all learning styles and development levels. Beyond our doors, you develop partnerships in the community. You even assist with training workshops for licensed professionals and family members of children with disabilities. REQUIREMENTS FOR A NONPROFIT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER Meets qualifications for obtaining a Director's certificate from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) 5+ years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum 1+ year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance Covid-19 vaccination A bachelor's degree in education, child development, behavior analysis, or a related field is preferred but not required.
