Verde Valley Assisted Living is central Arizona's first federally funded housing development, established in 1976. The facility is a private, non-profit corporation with a mission of assisting low income seniors and persons with disabilities to access independent living in affordable rental housing. Through federal housing assistance programs, eligible persons with qualifying incomes may pay reduced amounts for rent and utilities.Spread across 45 landscaped acres, Verde Valley Assisted Living provides panoramic views of the Verde Valley. The facility provides an independent living experience and comprises 232 one-story residential units with private entries, two community buildings, laundry facilities and a private park. Units are fully maintained by the Manor's professional staff. The facility provides attractive ranch-style housing in a friendly atmosphere Our Goal To provide an enriched living environment that is therapeutic, safe and comfortable. We strive to enhance and maximize residents' dignity, functional capacity, independence, individuality, privacy, and choice. We utilize the soundest and most up-to-date treatment approaches to ensure optimal quality of care. Our staff is extensively trained in caring for persons with a variety of behavioral acuities. Each resident benefits from an individually designed care plan that is specifically addresses their behavioral needs. Behavioral health care is available on-site as needed. We are responsive to the needs of our residents and families, alone with their medical providers, referral sources, and payors! Med Tech Responsibilities: •The Medication Technician is responsible for supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents as ordered and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the company •In addition, the Medication Technician will provide direct personal care, encourage residents to participate in activities, and work with housekeepers and maintenance staff in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values •Prepare and distribute medication to residents •Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician •Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies •Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records •Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards •Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments Required Qualifications: Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete state required delegation and/or training Benefits: Competitive pay Healthcare Benefits including Vision & Dental (Full-time only) 401k (Full-time only) Paid Time Off Rewards and Bonus Opportunities Continuous Training and Growth Opportunities Job Posted by ApplicantPro
