This Position may be eligible for Remote and/or hybrid based on customer discretion. Responsibilities Sayres is seeking a Senior Ship Acquisition and Lifecycle Analyst with Secret Clearance in Washington, DC. Duties could include but are not limited to the following: Provide executive level acquisition and lifecycle management support for US Navy auxiliary ship/service craft/small boat major acquisition program office in Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). Lead team of analysts through complex shipbuilding procurement and design/build contract evolutions using DOD 5000 processes, as well as manage ship lifecycle management activities including maintenance, engineering and repair/availability management. Apply specific program and/or operational knowledge ACAT acquisition processes and lead special project initiatives on behalf of govt/military customer across a spectrum of program management and engineering services involving auxiliary ships, special craft and small boats. Interface with wide range of stakeholders throughout Navy and industry including shipyards and commercial vendors. Requirements: Minimum 10 years relevant experience BS Degree Minimum 5 years supervisory experience leading teams in relevant environments Secret Clearance Excellent communication and organization skills Preferred certifications include PMP and DAU/DAWIA training Preferred first-hand experience with USN Service Craft/Auxiliary Ships or Small Boats The position description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this position.
