Description: Lab Supervisor needed for multi-specialty health care clinic in Layton, Utah. Full-Time position. Duties: Assigned as the CLIA laboratory director for select satellite locations. Ensures laboratory compliance with CLIA regulations. Assists Lab Manager with various managerial tasks including, but not limited to personnel, proficiency testing, training and competency assessments, quality control and monthly maintenance review, new method validations, error tracking and trending, internal audits, corrective actions when deficiencies are found, etc. Facilitate effective communication across internal departments by trending and reporting data. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, budgets, and schedules. Ensure the lab establishes and maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affects quality results. Ensure that environmental requirements are met at the federal, state, and local government levels. Assist others with and perform lab techniques. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science or related field. MT or MLS (ASCP) Certification, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a generalist in all lab departments except blood bank. General knowledge of regulations. Qualified as a CLIA high complexity general supervisor and CLIA moderate complexity laboratory director. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
