CFD Research is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with experience using component libraries such as Tailwind, Material UI, and others, to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for desktop, web, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and a portfolio that showcases their ability to design innovative, effective, and engaging user interfaces. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create design solutions that meet project requirements and align with business objectives. • Develop and maintain design guidelines, standards, and patterns to ensure consistency across applications. • Use component libraries such as Tailwind and Material UI to create responsive, modular, and scalable design systems. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions. • Conduct user research, user testing, and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience. • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the user experience. • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies, and make recommendations to the team on best practices. Requirements: • Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. • Familiarity with component libraries such as Tailwind, Material UI, and others. • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and design principles. • Experience in designing for desktop, web, and mobile applications. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferences: • 1-3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer. • Experience using Atlassian tool suite or similar software management tools • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Location: Hybrid, mostly Remote.
