Join Our Team! Now offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! Shift options: 1st shift starting at 8:00AM OR 3rd Shift starting at 9:00PM $20-33/hour based on experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to inspect trailers for compliance Ability to service ABS brakes Knowledge of drum and disc brake systems is preferred Knowledge of trailer wiring, lighting, greasing, brakes, and lift gate is preferred General maintenance on fleet trailers Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required Two years technical instruction in auto or diesel mechanics is preferred Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally Must be able to pass a DOT physical Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet Work environment involves ability to bend, kneel, crouch, walk and drive Work environment may involve hazards such as diesel exhaust, brake dust, grease, antifreeze, and other elements associated with vehicle repair EEO and Affirmative Action Statement Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
