We are seeking to fill a key leadership role of Account Manager I, who will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of TPA client services, serving as the primary contact for internal and external customer inquiries and resolving issues and contributing to strategic planning and implementation of approved solutions to ensure optimum department performance. QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years account management/client relationship experience in a health insurance or equivalent environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Liaison between client and other company departments Assists as needed with new group implementation Intimate knowledge of each client's benefit plan Regularly explores ways to improve client's experience and reduce costs Preparing for and participating in employee orientation and open enrollment meetings Provides data reporting to clients and attends scheduled monthly/quarterly/annual meetings Strategizes with internal departments to address/resolve any client or process related issues Maintains contact with assigned clients on a regular schedule via phone, correspondence and in person to monitor and enhance service Implements new product offerings Consults with clients on regulatory issues affecting plan Coordinates carrier changes and terminations Capacity for one to five less complex clients Represents company at client, industry, or professional meetings/events Position requires travel and use of personal vehicle Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of Santé policies, procedures and systems. Knowledge of TPA or related industry. Knowledge of broker/client practices as relates to these activities. Knowledge of public relations and client service strategies. Knowledge of computer program applications including MS Word/Excel and PC proficiency. Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure to answer correspondence and prepare reports. Skill in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising. Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures and developing new ones in response to organizational goals and objectives. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships internally and with the public. Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner. Ability to work within a budget.
