Our company, Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe , is currently hiring for a part-time or full-time Line Chef - Cafe Line Cook to prepare and cook a variety of food items in the Leander, TX area. This cooking position can be full- or part-time and typically works between the hours of 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM . We are open 7 days a week . Our Line Chef - Cafe Line Cook earns a competitive starting wage of $18 per hour plus an additional $1-$2 per hour after a 30-day evaluation for a total earning potential of $19-$20 per hour . New Line Chefs - Cafe Line Cooks hired after October 6th, 2022 are eligible for a $750 bonus , with $250 paid after 30 days of employment and $500 after 90 days. DAY-TO-DAY As a full- or part-time Line Chef - Cafe Line Cook, you are vital to the operations of our restaurant. You fulfill all our orders according to the recipes and instructions. Alongside the rest of the kitchen staff, you use various cooking methods to prepare each menu item accurately. Through your training, you're able to work at any station in our kitchen. You ensure that food comes simultaneously and in a timely fashion. Always attentive to detail, you perform portion control and minimize waste. You ensure that each ingredient and product we use is fresh and of high quality. Additionally, as you work you maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. You love making delicious food each day and take pride in always meeting our quality and cleanliness standards!
