Essential Duties and Responsibilities ( include but are not limited to the following): Schedule and perform shipment scheduling and preparation of packages based on customer requirements. Follow customer SOP for shipping activities. Follow department procedures as required Perform quality checks on all finished products. Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe. Review finished assemblies on production floor and assist other departments when requested. Interact with freight service providers and file claims. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education an/or Experience: HS Diplomas At least 1 year experience with shipping/warehouse operations Working knowledge of office software packages (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, mainframe business applications) Clean driving record including review of DMV records. Language Skills: Ability to read, write and speak English. Effectively communicate directly with customers in a timely, professional manner. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; Use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Can talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance. The employee must occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
