MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS OUR COMPUTER ENGINEER - IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST This network engineering position typically works from 7 or 8 am to 5 pm and is occasionally needed for after-hours work and a rotating on-call. Most weeks, this position enjoys scheduled time off during regular business hours. At our managed service provider, we strive to keep our clients' IT systems operating smoothly. To achieve this, we need a skilled and proactive Computer Network Systems Engineer like you. This network engineering role is vital in identifying and resolving technical issues before they become major problems. You spend your days upgrading networks, creating new networks, and troubleshooting problems. Additionally, you have the opportunity to design and implement new processes and security measures while ensuring the accompanying documentation is updated. As a proactive problem solver, you take pride in identifying and addressing minor issues before they escalate, which helps our clients maintain fully functional systems. REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR COMPUTER ENGINEER - IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST 5+ years of experience with customer support, active directory application support, disaster recovery, firewalls, documentation, local area networks (LAN), and wide area networks (WAN) Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2016 - 365, Microsoft Teams, PowerShell, Sever 2008-2019, SSL, IPSEC VPN, TCP/IP, VLANs with tagging, and Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10 Proficiency with or the ability to learn the following: Android, AWS, Cisco, DFS/DFSR, DUO MFA, Google G Suite, iOS, IP Phone Systems, Kaseya, Linux Servers, MacOS, Microsoft Azure, RD Gateway, scripting, SonicWALL, SQL, Unifi, and VMWare Ability to troubleshoot, remediate viruses, mitigate malware attacks, manage access points, and resolve other issues Residence within 30 minutes of the office The following skills would be helpful but are not required: C/C++, HTML, JavaScript, Python, Visual Basic, and website maintenance.
