IT Strategic Planning and Change Management Specialist (federal)

Job Description Summary Join a stable and growing company on a long-term federal project with variety and interesting challenges. BPS is looking for a seasoned business process professional (analysis, design and redesign), particularly in the context of an IT program or biomedical research/informatics arena and with experience inclusive of budget, financial, and communication management. In this role, you will support strategic planning efforts for numerous IT projects and services used by a large federal biomedical research organization and planning of organizational roles, responsibilities and infrastructures from a people and organization prospective. Workplace is 100% remote. Top salary for highly qualified candidates. Please note this is a contingent role, dependent upon award of a contract. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. Responsibilities Facilitating the strategic planning process. Drafting and communicating strategic planning timelines and milestones. Participating in and supporting efforts for mapping projects, programs, and initiatives to strategic objectives. Supporting efforts to identify, document, and track performance towards strategic goals, e.g., implementation of Objective and Key Result (OKR) methodology. Providing business analysis/process support to other task areas as assigned. Defining the current state of the organization, projects, and initiatives. Working with client leadership to design the structure, roles, and responsibilities of any organizational changes required to support and implement strategic plans. Providing guidance to the client leadership on tasks including definition, coordination, publishing of services and project management procedures, policies, methodologies, standards, and change requests. Drafting standard procedures, developing processes for budget management, financial management, and communication management. Providing support on Analysis and Design that is focused on the organization's mission and vision. Qualifications - Required Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, management, business analysis or similar 2+ years of IT strategic planning 2+ years' experience in business process analysis/design/redesign/improvement 1+ years' experience with budget, financial, and communication management 1+ years' experience facilitating, drafting, and supporting strategic planning efforts 1+ years' experience working for a federal agency Qualifications - Highly Desired 2+ years' experience working for HHS or any of its OpDivs 2+ years' experience in the biomedical research and/or informatics fields 2+ years' experience as a federal contractor Compensation $61,000 - $73,000/yr, based on capability and experience Other Location: 100% remote Hours: Full Time About BUSINESS PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS Business Performance Systems is a successful, well-established small business composed of skilled consultants supporting high-priority government projects.
