Currently, MPG is seeking to hire an experienced Night Shift Folder / Gluer Operator to join our team . If you possess the required skills and experience as outlined below, please submit your resume for consideration. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for setting up and running high-quality products using Bobst series folder gluing equipment to achieve machine make readys, run speeds, productivity efficiencies, and, more importantly, customer requirements and quality standards Runs jobs that include straight line cartons, autobottom cartons, window, and other styles as assigned Monitors the product for quality while minimizing waste and rework Accurately records time and materials for each job and is accountable for equipment maintenance Diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, troubleshoots and provides the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner Must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to as much as 60 pounds occasionally Works with other members of the team to complete orders in an accurate and efficient manner that supports operational excellence Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures and follows all standard operation procedures and work instructions Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Requires High School diploma or equivalent Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of folder gluing experience Ability to work a 2-2-3-2 night shift rotation schedule (7pm - 7am) Working knowledge in operating the Bobst series equipment is highly desirable Possesses mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with MIS software such as Monarch is desired COMPENSATION & BENEFITS MPG offers a leading-edge compensation package which includes the following : A highly competitive compensation "above the industry" commensurate with experience which includes an annual incentive bonus plan 100% Employer-paid medical, dental base plan, vision, life/AD&D, and short-term and long-term di sabilit y, while subsidizing premiums for medical, dental, and vision for employee dependents 401(k) Plan with up to a 4% (dollar for dollar) Employer match Health Savings/Flexible Spending Account options Paid time off, including 9 company-paid holidays Employee Assistance Program And, much more!
