Adjunct Instructor - Practical Nursing Program

This is a part-time position for an industry professional who will help train students in the Practical Nursing program. This instructor must ensure that a positive, upbeat, diversified, interesting and active learning environment occurs in both classrooms and labs, giving the students relevant and worthwhile experiences daily. The responsibilities include planning, organizing and implementing an effective instructional training program in a professional learning environment that guides, encourages and enables students to develop into industry professionals. This position requires 12-16 hours per week in the evenings Monday through Thursday with some Friday days, with the possibility of a 12-hour day clinical shift (varies by week). The position pays $35 per hour. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse. Dixie Tech is a public technical college located in a new state-of-the-art campus in St. George, Utah.
