RN-Assistant Director of Nursing Quality Assurance/Risk Management Full Time Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, a world class nursing facility located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing who will lead the Quality Assurance/Risk Management function and join our dedicated team of Nursing Professionals. In this key clinical leadership role working alongside with caring, dedicated, and experienced senior nursing leadership, the ADON, in addition to overseeing the nursing staff and delivery of quality patient care, will be responsible for the Risk Management and Quality Assurance initiatives What Makes this a Great Opportunity? Required Qualifications: Clean and active NYS RN license; BSN a plus Prior leadership/management experience in a nursing home, hospital or post-acute care setting 5+ years of experience as an RN in a medical/surgical, rehab or long-term care environment Prior Risk Management, Quality Assurance or other similar experience; knowledgeable in DOH regulations and survey prep Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff Communicates effectively with others; is cooperative and helpful Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Job Posted by ApplicantPro
