We offer services in maintenance agreements, temperature controls, commercial kitchen service, and construction. Our goal of service & growth is in our name - Success Through Reputation. We are seeking a General Manager for a Commercial HVAC company in the Macon, GA area that will participate in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans to achieve annual revenue targets, grow the trades margins, and increase our customers experience and satisfaction. This position will be the domain expert of their trade and is expected to follow industry trends and technology advancement to work with Executive Leadership so that our business offerings to customers are aligned. This position reports directly to the CEO. WHAT YOU WILL DO : Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale Assist with creation and preparation of annual business plan for the company that includes objectives for revenue, profit, and ROI as well as action plans to achieve these objectives Identify and resolve problems, gather and analyze information to develop solutions Monitor and track performance of Operation Quality and KPI metrics Allocate resources and develop fact-based analysis, budgets, and forecasts that support strategic business goals, improve productivity and improve service levels Work with sales team to leverage resources to drive growth P&L responsibility for the organization to include meeting financial objectives through revenue, cost control, and increased earnings Provide continuous communication across organization and customers, external and internal Ensure job site safety, work with safety representative and HR to follow proper guidelines established by Safety Department Organize facilities and activities to ensure efficient operation Increase efficiency and consistency in all operations Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate, timely and consistent reporting Coordinate with HR to ensure adequate staffing and resources to meet demand throughout the year, facilitate needed training, and coach performance What we offer - Competitive wages & paid weekly FREE dental insurance for employee FREE short-term disability FREE life insurance coverage of $20,000 Eligible for insurance benefits 1st of the month after hire date with multiple options 401k plan with generous company match after 30 days Company vehicle & cell phone Year-round work with multiple locations and national presence Vacation time & 8 Paid Holidays What you need to qualify - Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel HVAC industry experience in managing operations Financial and analytical skills, and exceptional forecasting abilities Knowledge and experience with OSHA guidelines Technical background in HVAC, Boiler, Refrigeration, and/or plumbing system preferred Experience reporting and presenting information to executive level management Entrepreneurial and results oriented Job Posted by ApplicantPro
