Pollie, short for Polar Bear or Poliaris, is a 10 year old catahoula mix. She is a very gentle giant, weighing about 50 pounds. She gets along great with other dogs and cats. Pollie loves to take walks and gets around well with her daily vitamin supplement to treat her arthritis. Pollie comes from a situation where she and her siblings had been neglected most of their lives, and as a resultshe can seem a bit timid, but her personality shines through with some tlc and animal companionship. She was hardly able to stand when she first arrived to her foster parents, but after a few months of care, she has a new lease on life! Pollie is looking for a comfortable home to enjoy the rest of her golden years! We promised Pollie that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life.
