Beneath her friendly exterior lies a feisty spirit. Ashanti is not afraid to assert herself, whether in play or in defending her territory. Quick reflexes and agile movements make her a formidable opponent in any game, and her playful nature can turn into a display of feistiness in the blink of an eye. This domestic shorthair female is around 2 1/2 years old and would do best in a home without young children. All adoptions are by appointment only at this time. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet our available cats and adopt. Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ashanti, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
