Just in time for Spooky Season, Scaredy Cat is very, very friendly, vocal (mostly when he's hungry), and absolutely adores attention, being petted, and loves to snuggle and sleep with or near you. Scaredy cat was born around the 4th of July and rescued from a drainage ditch with his siblings. Having lost his mother so young, Scaredy Cat is not aloof, and adores his people. He often wants to be by your side (or feet), snuggle up near your neck, and purrs like a champ! While still a kitten who gets the zoomies and loves to play around with his siblings, he also really enjoys laps and lounging with his people. Scaredy has been neutered and has received age-appropriate shots. He uses the cat box like a champ, and does well with toddlers, kids and people of all ages. Scaredy Cat got his name because when he was first around people or saw his shadow, he would arch his back and run, he is certainly not scared anymore! Scaredy comes as a bonded pair with his brother and litter mate Houdini. $125 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is:- Not being able to save every cat.- Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
