Meet McGee!This little guy is approximately 11 mos old and 38 lbs. He has thoroughly enjoyed foster life and is making the best of it. McGee is happy by nature and is the sweetest kid. He loves to give hugs and kisses and has never met a stranger. In a typical day, his body wiggles and tail wags 99% of the time. McGee is house trained, crate trained (sleeps all night without a peep). I have turned on a noise maker for him with camping noises or run youtube stories that he can sleep to.He is healthy and active and loves to explore my yard, however he will come looking for me often. We play fetch and he will take the rubber baton and run laps in the yard. McGee rides very nicely in the car as well, although he's a little scared to get in...so I've had to lift him. Once in, I seatbelt him and he sits or lays down the whole time.In the house, he is curious and scrambles from room to room, but doesn't really chew things up. He will pick apart his dog bed if there is any amount of stuffing hanging out.**NOTE - McGee is smart and could benefit from basic obedience training so that he can learn leash/people manners. He doesn't realize how strong he is when he jumps on you and will do it often for hugs and kisses. When you first let him out of his crate he is so happy that he will knock you over. He should go to a family with strong/able bodied owners and NO small kids. Kids over 15 will be ok, but they should also be strong so that when he jumps up, he doesn't knock them over. Once trained out of this, I think he could go into any family. He is VERY LOVING and just wants affection. He never uses his mouth or teeth - always gives you a lick! He wants reassurance from you.
