Cairo and his littermates were found on a backroad near Ozark, scared, emaciated, and desperate for help. Their rescuers brought them home and, despite posting on various places to find their owners, no one claimed them so they were probably cruelly dumped and left to fend for themselves. We estimate Cairo's DOB to be around 6/22/21. He may come off as shy, but once you are one-on-one with him you will find this gentle soul is looking for love and wants to build that forever relationship with a family of his own. Cairo should be in a home without cats but would do well in a home with other dogs. His perfect home will teach him how wonderful and trustworthy the right home can be. Once someone invests that love and devotion into him, Cairo will give it back tenfold. His estimated DOB is 6/22/21.All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week.
