Duties and Responsibilities: The General Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service at all levels of the restaurant while balancing fiscal responsibility, purchases, advertising, and revenue growth. The GM will be a strong proven leader, driven to succeed, and have exceptional communication skills. Additional responsibilities: Performs opening and/or closing duties Monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to staffing levels Prepares employee work schedules Monitors and maintains inventory levels to ensure product availability and portion control Places orders for food, paper and other supplies / inventory Able to accurately monitor market segments and conditions as well as be able to react to maximize revenue opportunities Monitors performance of vendors Completes employment-related records and payroll records Immediately resolves guest requests and complaints in a respectful manner Recruits, interviews, negotiates pay, and hires management and team members to achieve proper staffing goals and levels Prepares all necessary operational reports. Develops appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trends Reports to partners on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis or as needed Develops and implements a marketing plan Strong financial background. Available 24/7 Required Skills: Past GM experience and a minimum of 5 years in the restaurant industry. Proven track record of building sales, increasing profits, people development, and operational improvements. Strong service and hospitality focused leadership style. Demonstrates an ownership mentality, business maturity, and strong industry awareness. Utilizes tactical and strategic judgment to achieve all key business measures. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related discipline. Preferred Skills: MBA Previous Bar, Caf , Restaurant and Coffee House management. Benefits: Pay: Based on experience.
