Senior Project Manager, near Sacramento, 6 month contract, $60-85/hour 1099 basis Program Management Specialist History of streamlining processes, leveraging busy resources and delivering to expectations (classic cat herding ) Organize and execute a fast-track PMO, procure and configure office servers and workstations as necessary. Plan and implement PMO processes tools and templates Meet with executives to align corporate compliance & risk policies with PMO risk processes. In-house expert on formal PMI methods; present feedback and advice to PMO staff in the development of Issue, Change, and Requirements Management, and guide development toward successful adoption. Enable PMs to easily transition to other projects as needed. Coordinate Resource, Risk, & Change Management, budget and deliverables tracking across all projects. Produce and present high-level executive reports (dashboard, status, and go/no-go decisions) at executive meetings. Mentor staff in formal PM methodologies. Develop corporate project guidelines and fast-track methodologies. Develop training content and conduct PM training sessions for new PMs. Expertise in all PMI knowledge areas and processes, and specifically on PMO creation, business drivers, change Management and communication.
