Assist elderly ladies with activities of daily living to include: personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, etc. according to their Care Plan. Assist with administering medications. Assist with transportation to personal appointments, shopping or recreational activities. Prepare meals according to the posted menu & follow food safety procedures. Complete all documentation as required. Perform housekeeping duties. Assist Residents with exercises. Lead & participate in daily social activities. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid Oregon driver s license & vehicle insurance. Must be literate in the English language with outstanding communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Must pass a background check; must not be listed on the Office of Inspector General (OIG) or System for Award Management (SAM) Exclusion Lists After hire, must review & understand the DHS Adult Foster Home Caregiver Preparatory Training Guide & complete Caregiver Workbook; complete state required Dementia training & obtain CPR/First Aid Training (if not already trained). Caregiver experience, a plus but not required; specific training provided. Looking for a special person who is kind & compassionate, has a willingness to learn & to serve others & has good work ethic. Position offers: 24+ hrs per week at $12/hr
