ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTUREBUSINESS: Aerospace & Defense (A&D)LOCATION: HauppaugeDIRECT REPORTING: Manufacturing SupervisorFUNCTIONAL REPORTING: ManufacturingPrincipal Activities * Operates and maintains manual lathe and milling machines and CNC mill. * Must be proficient in setup in CNC Mill. * Preferred proficient in CNC programming and modification of existing programs. * Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production. * Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping. * Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task. * Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment. * Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary. * Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects. * Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs. * Maintains a safe and clean workstation. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Job Requirements:Knowledge Skills & Abilities * Excellent coordination and mechanical skills * Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety * Solid written and verbal communication skills * Proficient in math * Basic computer skills Education and Experience : * High school degree or equivalent * Minimum 5-10 years experience working with machine tools, both manual and CNC * Working knowledge of safety protocols * Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred Other * US PersonPAY RANGE: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour * Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experienceCIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females / Minorities / Veterans / Individuals with DisabilitiesGet job alerts by email.
