CONDITION: Technical condition: 10 / 10Cosmetic condition: 10 / 10 (only issue is one sticker on rear has fallen off and another one is coming off). This CD player is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! To say it was well taken care of, is an understatement. It literally looks like it was just unboxed today, regardless of it being 23 years old. DESCRIPTION:This is the rare CD-40 model that was made in Belgium in 1990. It utilizes the CDM-4/19 transport CD mechanism and swing arm laser pickup that is known to be very reliable even with bigger surface scratches on CDs. What’s even better is that it has the Philips TDA 1541A D/A Converter chip installed. This is a high-quality chip that was used in many expensive and dependable CD players and DACs in the past. This chip is known for its exceptional sound quality and accurate reproduction of music, making it very sought after.
