Meet Barnie, a 2-year-old male Kelpie/Retriever mix.Barnie is such a cute dog. His pictures don't really show is true size or how adorable he is. Barnie is currently only 24 pounds. He has a happy-go-lucky personality and has been very social with all the adoption center staff. Barnie is a little athlete and can jump high so a well fenced in yard would be ideal.This pet is available for adoption on 12/15/23 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-XXXX.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
