The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, including real property litigation experience, and be licensed to practice in Missouri. An Illinois license or the ability to become licensed in Illinois is preferred. The Litigation Attorney should demonstrate superior academic performance, exceptional research and writing abilities, and proficiency in analytical skills. Bankruptcy experience is considered a valuable asset.Duties:Represent clients in litigation matters, focusing on real property litigation.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Appear for depositions and argue motions in court.Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff to ensure effective case management.Provide legal counsel to clients and participate in case strategy development.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.An active license to practice law in Missouri is required.Illinois license is preferred, or the ability to become licensed in Illinois.Strong academic background with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in Missouri.Skills:Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience with real property litigation.Ability to appear for depositions and argue motions.Bankruptcy experience is a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.This Litigation Attorney role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to join a dynamic law firm and contribute to successfully resolving complex litigation matters in Kansas City, MO.
