Runt is a one-year-old, 40-pound mix that came from a cruelty case along with his two siblings, who have been adopted already. They were all in the yard on heavy chains secured around their necks with a metal padlock, and Runt’s had grown into his neck when we got him. The owners had several small kids, too, and the dogs were great with them. The two adopted have acclimated beautifully to life in a home, and Runt will, too. He is friendly and was a hit at the 5k last weekend, greeting every dog out there. What a great temperament this dog has.
