Eddie's energy oscillates from playful zoomies to settling into low-energy bliss. His favorite pastime? Running with a toy in his mouth, ready to trade it for a belly rub – he's got priorities! Eddie's a scholar in the making, mastering leash walks and opting for 'down' over 'sit.' Housetraining is a work in progress, but with his food-motivated nature, he's on the fast track to success. Crate time is ok as long as there's a treat inside! Rainy days are big dislike for Eddie, but he's a champ at bath time. He's a social butterfly with a reserved touch, enjoying canine companionship and warming up to humans once the sniff-and-pet ritual is complete. He takes a minute to come around to new people, but once he knows, he's a loyal friend. On walks, Eddie's a delight – no pulling, just pure joy being close to his human. He adores car rides, though a little shy getting out of his crate. But once on his paws, he's all smiles. Eddie's ideal home? Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
