Duke is a perfect size, one of those ‘pocket-size’ pitties! Smaller size with a big personality. He’s playful and said to be good with kids but can play a bit rough and match their energy level. Duke is not a fan of other dogs though. He is easy on the leash once out of the shelter. He’s not puppy age but does have puppy-like energy. He loves to train, he listens, stays focused and connected. He wants to be with you and wants to please you. And although he’s energetic, he can wait calmly until you give the go-ahead. Looking for a fun game to play? Duke loves fetch! And he will bring the ball right back to your feet. He is very curious and always looking around; he loves to explore with his nose (which is great for him); but when things get quiet, Duke will come sit right next to you and melt into your legs as you pet him. Duke is said to be potty trained but may need to be reminded of this once he gets into a new home and new routine. He's just a fun little guy looking for attention and to please. Duke and R's Excellent Adventure: Duke ( 2308-1649 ) had a great time at the beach last week.. He was excited but calm when the car door was opened and he realized he was going for a ride. He sat still and looked around during the ride, and when we got there he got out looking around for things to do. Duke met several people, and they all commented on how cute and well behaved he was. When he got excited (which happened A LOT), his little tail wagged a mile a minute. Despite the cold and sparse crowd, he found plenty of random things that got his attention. Why is this cute happy go lucky, pocket-sized pittie still here????
