If you're looking for a puppy to grow up to be the perfect family dog, look no further! Rex, lovinglly named by his 5-year old human foster-brother after T-Rex, is a super sweet, affectionate, and well-natured puppy. Rex is great with dogs, big and small, old and young. He's also doing great with kids of all ages (he currently lives with a 8-, 5-, and 2-year old). Rex is learning house and crate training. He will need a family that will continue his socialization and training. Socializing and puppy training classes will be a great way to bond with your new puppy and set you and them up to succeed as they grow from their puppy cuteness into their adult selves. The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit will be added to a kitten or puppies adoption fee. Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old.
