Thor is a handsome 2-year old male Husky/Shepherd mix who was brought to the HSOV on November 20, 2023 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden after he was picked up on Sixth Street in Lowell Ohio (and later surrendered by his owner). This good-looking guy has a cream/pale yellow short smooth coat, a long curled tail, and a beautiful face with sky blue eyes, a milk chocolate nose on his slender muzzle, and short semi-erect/folded-over ears. Thor has a sweet disposition and a lovable outgoing personality. We had taken preliminary indoor photos of Thor on the evening of November 21st since the weather was rainy, dark, and dreary that day. Those pictures were really cute of Thor but we were anxious to take some candid outdoor shots which would be more flattering of his true beauty. Thanks to HSOV Kennel Tech Jocelyn Rose Jackson for accompanying Thor for outdoor glamour photos on November 24, 2023 when the weather was more cooperative. Thor looked to Jocelyn for guidance (and attention) and posed for a few of his best 'Westminster' stances before deciding he was more interested in watching other dogs, people, and cars than looking at some stupid camera lens (hee hee). Thor weighs 42.6 lbs and is fairly strong on a leash. Thor will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).
