Vintage Truetone Archtop Guitar

This is a vintage (1960???, I think) Truetone Archtop guitar with the F-hole configuration. It could use a number of repairs to the neck and body, but is playable as is. The strings are very old and gives it an old-time blues sound, especially playing slide. It appears that the saddle was replaced or altered and the neck (steel reinforced) needs a reset. I would say it is in, overall, fair condition, but surprisingly good considering the age. A "guitar guy" told me it was a 1960 model because the purfling and body were painted. He also said that Harmony made these guitars for various retail stores like Sears, Montgomery Ward, etc. I don't know enough about vintage guitars to refute any of this. I priced this guitar per his evaluation.
