Angelina is a Standardbred type bay mare believed to be in her teens. She arrived at the end of last summer, significantly underweight. She has gained weight wonderfully and has started in our training program! Angelina stands at 15.2 hands, is easy to handle on the ground, knows how to lunge, ground drive and can be groomed/tacked without an issue. Our trainers are working with her under saddle to further her education as she did not seem broke to ride after the initial evaluations. Angelina is a very sweet, smart and willing mare with no ill behaviors. She is a cute mover, fairly athletic and could go in any direction! While she is not for a beginner at this time, she has been safe and would make a nice project horse for a capable teen working with a trainer or intermediate and above rider. Angelina is currently walking and trotting under saddle. In the field she can be turned out with mares or geldings and is usually middle of the pecking order. If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
