Animal Profile: Kimber is a beautiful 4-year-old, 54 lb female German Shepherd who was found wandering as a stray and taken to Everett Animal Shelter. When the shelter environment was too stressful for her, we gave her a "jail break" and she's now in our foster care. Kimber has been waiting for a forever home since November of 2021. Please share and help her find her family! Foster Update: Kimber is affectionate and bonds quickly with her person. She is looking for an adopter who is experienced with high-energy dogs and is willing to continue working with her. She loves lounging in the house watching out the windows. Her ideal home environment would be an adult only household with working breed experience and a securely fenced yard. Shes completed a 4 week board and train program with Lugaru K9 Training to address leash reactivity. Kimber can now walk nicely on leash, and knows the following commands: sit, down, place, heel and leave it. She's not a candidate for dog parks as she easily gets over aroused and needs slow intros to other dogs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate.
