Princess! DOB: 3/2016 Weight: 55lbsThis gal still hasn’t found a place to crash, permanently or for foster. We’ve had her for a little over 6 years now. She’s a 7 year old Catahoula mix. 55lbs with a muscular build. She’s a favorite among shelter walkers as she’s easy on the leash. Super quiet both in and out of her kennel, and she even enjoys laying around in a crate. She doesn’t jump much and is low-medium energy level. Completely house trained. Princess is as friendly as can be with the people she meets at our kennels. In the home she can get a little protective of one person. She’s been to several potential homes. Only one where she became protective of one person. She was returned from the others due to no fault of her own, mostly sudden family issues. Princess has been known to love her squeaky toys and playing fetch. When she’s done with her playing she’s be happy to curl up beside you for a nap. She enjoys car rides and snuggling up on the couch. Knows how to sit and stay, takes treats nicely, and has no food/toy aggression. She might even attempt to help out with the groceries in the car lol. Unfortunately, Princess doesn’t care for other animals and should be the only pet. We’ve tried to work with her on it. She’ll walk past other dogs just fine when put on a walk but WILL NOT tolerate any dog in her space.Her fee is SPONSORED. So she’ll come with $175 worth of food and flea/tick/heartworm preventative.Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip.
