"Oso" is a 15-month old intact male GSD mix who is energetic, loving and snuggly. Oso is friendly with people he meets, including those who come into the house. Oso has not been around children yet. Oso is great around other dogs, including very small dogs. Oso is NOT good with cats. Oso is housetrained and stays in his person’s room when she’s gone for more than an hour. He also sleeps in her room on a dog bed besides her bed. Oso has not received any formal obedience training. He walks very weil on leash except when he sees other dogs—then he wants to run up to meet them. Oso has fairly good off-leash recall. Oso does not like riding in cars. He gets down on the floor and tries hiding under the seat. Oso enjoys playing fetch and chewing on his stuffed “turtle” toy. Oso’s person Courtny purchased him from a person who listed him on Craigslist about a year ago. She is now seeking a new home for him because she is moving and can’t afford a place that has a yard big enough to give him the room he needs. Oso is located in Fresno. Because he is not neutered yet, a $300 deposit will be required to ensure whoever adopts Oso has him neutered within 60 days of adoption.
