Cup of Joe is an amazing, loyal and loving boy with a huge sense of humor. Really, he's silly and he knows it! He's the kind of boy who wants to be with his people, either going for a car ride, sleeping at their feet, hanging out in the shop while they work, or curled up in front of the fireplace. He's done fabulous with other dogs twenty pounds and up, is very curious about cats, but backs down with a hiss, and loves people, big and small. Due to his size, he'd probably do best with older kids. He seems to like everyone he meets, but really likes women! He is house-trained, crate trained, and although he plays with toys, he's not a high energy guy. He's learning to walk on a special leash and collar because he loves going so much that he gets excited and will pull on the average leash. Cup of Joe is neutered, mannerly, and not a big barker. He tested positive for heartworms but the Maggie Society will treat him before he goes to his furever home. He is a genuine good boy and will be worth the wait for his perfect family! Anticipated go home date- Jan. 2024If interested in adopting, please complete an application. An approved application from The Maggie Society is valid for up to one year. It is not necessary to complete additional applications for dogs or puppies of interest if you have already been approved.
