Meet Charlie! Charlie was surrendered to inr of our vet's office. He was very sick and spent some time hospitalized. He is now doing well and ready for his forever home! Charlie is about 1 year old. He is pretty shy at first but does warm up pretty quickly. He does well with other cats and was temporarily in a home with other dogs. He must be adopted as an INDOOR ONLY cat.If you would like to make Charlie a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org.CHARLIE'S ADOPTION FEE IS $65The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
