***$1000 Hiring Bonus - Apply Today!*** Image Orthodontics in San Jose, CA is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join their orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of orthodontic procedures, possess excellent interpersonal and communication, has solid organizational skills, and be passionate about creating beautiful smiles for our patients. Key Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist in providing chair-side clinical support during orthodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments and maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic Take and develop X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photographs as needed Assist with patient education and oral hygiene instructions Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines Assist with lab work, such as pouring and trimming models Provide exceptional customer service and patient care at all times Qualifications Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification Orthodontic Assistant certification (OA) preferred Prior experience working in an orthodontic practice Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Fine motor skills to handle dental instruments and equipment Vision and hearing ability to accurately perform job duties Benefits Competitive pay Comprehensive health insurance covering medical, dental and vision 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Engaging company social events Complimentary and discounted orthodontic treatment for yourself and immediate family members Compensation Transparency At Image Orthodontics, we understand the importance of compensation transparency and are committed to adhering to applicable state laws.
