Senior Mendix Developer Do you have Mendix implementation experience? Do you like being responsible for hands-on project management? Want to work independently directly with business customers? If so, we might be the home you are looking for.If you can bring enthusiasm and drive to Mendix implementation, make the most complex apps seem simple to our customers, and have 5 or more years of experience managing the development of solutions for customers, we can offer you a salary of $105,000 to $130,000 and an exceptional benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(K), PTO and sick time. Key Responsibilities As a results-focused Self Starter, the Mendix Solutions Architect is responsible for hands-on project management across multiple business applications and integrations in various states of the Software Development Life Cycle. The ideal candidate would possess 5 or more years of experience managing projects in the software industry. They will work closely with business customers and the internal team. Technical Skills :· Mendix development experience· Mendix Intermediate Developer Certification (or higher): required· System thinker - knows how to organize data and workflow· Problem solver - can look at problems multiple ways· Experienced with - Data / Workflow Analysis Communication Skills :· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Able to ask leading and great questions.· Able to negotiate with clients· Thought leadership- able to see the big picture to lead a client to a bigger/better solution.· Client Management - Delight them with your abilities!· Empathy being able to see multiple sides Other Skills · Organized - excellent time management· Proactive· Teamwork - recognizes impact to the team· Ownership of work. Not afraid to take control and see to completion· Integrates with the company processes and culture Experience :· Negotiation: 3 years (Preferred)· Time Management: 3 years (Preferred)· Mendix Experience: 3+ years (Preferred)· Mendix Intermediate Developer Certification (or higher): required Key Qualifications :· 5+ years of experience in the software industry· Experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, Python or Cloud-native development· Well versed in complex application architecture, comparing and contrasting technologies against middleware, BPM, SOA, 4GL, etc.· Good understanding of the aPaaS/PaaS and cloud market space· Self-driven, independent, and accountable· Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity and an intense desire to succeed· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills· Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with both business and development teams· Ability to vet business and technical requirements· Willing to learn from and freely share knowledge with others, and comfortable participating in cross-functional teams· Able to work independently or on a team, and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment· Natural problem solver with a strong awareness of risk· Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and comfortable with initially undefined projects · Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge· Proactively identify opportunities for client upsell· Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies· Experience with Process-driven applications i2i Workforce® is representing a Software Application Development company who is looking to fill this role.
