We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our team of full and part time Produce Clerks. Candidates should have flexible availability. Weekends, nights and holidays may be included in scheduled hours. We offer a friendly work environment and the opportunity to grow and to work with a great team. Entry-level positions starting at $14/hr., Medical and Dental Benefits, flexible scheduling and participation in the company 401(k) are offered with plenty of opportunity for growth.College students welcome!** Candidates must have knowledge of stocking, rotation of merchandise, maintaining pricing, facing and inventorying produce items.**Requirements are listed, but not limited to the below: Provide excellent customer service, including greeting guests and assisting in choosing quality and unique fruits and vegetables and other specialty items along with answering questions about products and services offered Unload the product from the delivery trucks Prepping product for displays (cutting, packaging and merchandising) Keeping shelves fully stocked according to tag allocation Fills and rotates produce cases and dry tables, pulling out dated product as needed, to assure the best quality and manage loss control Should have no limitations with regards to lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, squatting, kneeling, walking, continuous standing and exposure to cold Leave assigned section presentable when leaving at the end of scheduled shift What we expect: Timeliness - show up on time for your scheduled shift Dependability - job requires being reliable, responsible and dependable Attention to detail - job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks Cooperation - ability to work well with others on the job and displaying a good natured cooperative attitude making you an effective team member Initiative - the willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges Innovation - creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work related problems Abide by all of the companies policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
