The Opportunity – Operations Director: Due to retirement, an opportunity for an Operations Director has arisen in a well-established, successful and growing manufacturing facility in Burslem, Stoke on Trent. Reporting to a main board director, your responsibilities will centre around the overseeing and coordinating of daily operations across the entire site, including areas with shift work. Applicants must have experience in leading teams in a manufacturing environment with the responsibility of achieving daily targets, including quality and health & safety. Responsibilities – Operations Director: Build positive relationships with all onsite colleagues. Maintain accurate factory gate costing data, so Directors can price potential volume customers. Engage in meetings with either existing or potential customers either on site or at their premises. Collaborate with branch managers at our Distribution Centres, N&C Tiles and Bathrooms Store as well as group sales managers. Oversee a click and collect facility/trade.
