Practice Area: Finance - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, Job OverviewA law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of law firm experience, particularly in representing sponsors, borrowers, banks, direct lenders, and other lenders in secured and unsecured loan transactions. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in acquisition finance but will be considered with various finance backgrounds. This position requires strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship abilities.DutiesRepresent sponsors, borrowers, banks, direct lenders, and other lenders in secured and unsecured loan transactions.Provide legal counsel and support in acquisition finance and other finance-related matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to finance transactions.Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth and efficient deal closings.Assist in due diligence processes for finance transactions.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in California.2-5 years of law firm experience, with a focus on finance transactions.Specific experience in acquisition finance is preferred.Strong understanding of financial and business concepts.CertificationsActive membership in the California State Bar.SkillsExcellent legal research and analytical skills.Effective written and verbal communication abilities.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated client relationship management capabilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document drafting.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Job LocationSan Francisco, CABenefitsThe firm offers a competitive package of benefits, including:Discretionary bonusHealth/welfare benefits, including parental, adoption, and fertility benefitsFlexible time offPaid holidays Although the San Francisco office of this full-service, multi-national juggernaut is known primarily for its large Litigation department, its Business department is growing and, in fact, includes an outstanding International Transactions practice.
