1900s Antique Oak Tudor Jacobean Dining Set: $2900.00 + tax.The Table-.This is a difficult to discover embeddeded in the antique world. It is a terrific large round leg.draw -leaf thick plank top banquet table. The table top is 40" x 64" and reveals the wonderful grains of the oak used in this heavy and stunning table, which dates from the 1920s. With the 2 draw leaves it opens out to 92". The size of the posts on the leg, just as an example of the quality, is six and half inches thick of solid wood sculpted notch round leg, with sculpting on the top of the leg down into a square foot that enters into a two-inch-thick V-shaped cross-stretcher to guarantee tightness and durability, however remarkable style. The color is the most stunning oak color from the 1920s. The nice thing about this style of table is its many uses. This also consists of 6 matching chairs, one captains and 5 standard.The Sideboard-.This is a stout and heavy piece that's developed to last! It is a wonderful five-drawer, two-door, carved Jacobean style sideboard dating from the 1920's. It is constructed of solid oak, within and out, consisting of the drawer sides and bottoms! It's extremely excellent personally, and is greatly sculpted, extra big, and has a multi-molded beveled edge and a dainty little backsplash. The general size is 62" inches long, 23 inches deep, and 38 inches high to the top of the backsplash. You will not think the carvings on the front of this sideboard! The doors are all picture-frame molded. You could pop the doors off this sideboard and hang them on the wall and people would provide you $500 for them as works of art in the sculpted classification! The big center drawer is not carved, however they took an elm burl veneer and made a match for the panel piece in the center just to make this piece much better than average. It has actually sculpted crests on the bottom, 4 melon-shaped front legs, a heavy solid oak cross-stretcher and of course, the beautiful dark amber color. The overall condition behaves.
