Meet Spunky! This pretty girl has come a long way in the short time she has been in her current foster home. When she first arrived, she was semi-feral and would not come out from under the bed if anyone was around. Just a few short months later, she has relocated her favorite spot to the corner of her foster mom’s bed, where she can watch all the comings and goings of that area of the house. Can’t help but love how her eyes “dip” in the middle, making her look perpetually annoyed. She’s got great meme potential!! She is very food motivated, and will come looking for pets and scratches often when it’s meal time. She loves treats, and she lets you know how much she appreciates them by rubbing her face on your hands and purring. She is learning to love affection, but she is still quite the loner. Spunky would do well in a home where she has autonomy – somewhere she doesn’t feel she has to hide, such as a one cat household – or possibly a barn cat situation. Spunky is 5 years old, spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on vaccines and ready for her forever home!
