This is an incredible Victorian patinated metal high relief plaque, illustrating a courting couple in an architectural landscape. The plaque is most likely made of spelter and or/brass, and is framed using solid oak wood. Each of the four corners is capped in a handsome decorative piece. This is truly a one of a kind item and would look wonderful in a library. This piece dates to the 19th century. Condition. The condition of this piece is great. Flowers are missing from one of the female's hands. There is some light surface area wear on one of the decorative corner pieces. Size. Height: 23 inches.Width: 18 inches.Density: 2 (frame only).Weight: Over 23 pounds.
