This set is sturdy and has actually been well taken care of.( Included are the boards that lay throughout the sideboards that hold a mattress and box springs). This is from our household estate. If you don't care for the surface and want it refinished in color; I have numerous names that can do a stunning job on recreating this set. We will certainly not take nor deliver cashier check ... cash only. If you have any questions concerning this bed, etc., kindly contact us. We will be delighted to see with you.
