This is a 100 Watt Ampeg V-4 tube powered guitar amplifier. I have possessed it for over 20 years and it was provided a full overhaul by Vintage Amp Repair of Columbus, Ohio in July of 2008. During this overhaul the power tubes were replaced with a matched set of NOS USA-made Philips 7027As and the bias was set. The reverb tank was sent out to Accutronics for a total restore. The entire prejudice network was rebuilt. New screen resistors were installed. Tone control capacitors were replaced. All controls, sockets, jacks, and switches were cleaned. The receipt for this work is included. I think this amp was manufactured between 1976-1979. It has been played extremely bit considering that the rebuild and everything works as it should. There are some cosmetic imperfections ... ... cigarette burns on the front top edge of the cabinet, some scratching on the faceplate and finish problems on the bottom edge of the faceplate. It concerned me with these defects. I attempted to reveal these things on the pictures however they aren't really clear. This amp is extremely powerful and will play very loud and clean and reacts exceptionally when a distortion pedal is made use of. The reverb is definitely incredible sounding and has a locking mechanism for transportation functions. Even with the problems that I described the amplifier displays effectively.
