A wonderfully detailed, hinged, double sided, steel chocolate mould that will certainly make 12 Saint Nicks. This special chocolate mould was bought in Europe in 1979 by my mom when we lived there, and has been displayed in our cooking area ever since. I searched for this mould or something just like it on the web, however didn't have any success, so I don't understand how old it is. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: In excellent condition with regular evidence of age, dirty however no serious damage. The interior surface areas of each mould have fantastic details of Saint Nick. The twelve moulds equal, and set in a banded and hinged heavy metal frame. The hinge works fantastic and you can open and close the mould easily. Number 18 is stamped on the outside frame. Individual moulds are 3-1/4"high x 1"wide. Overall frame size is 16-1/4" high x 11" broad. It weighs about 6 or 7 pounds. CONDITION NOTE: The interior surface area has a dull silver surface. There are really couple of rust areas on the moulds themselves. Rust spots could be polished and covered to avoid reappearance. The outside has a good patina with some areas of wear and rust on the frame. The general condition inside and out is very great as it has actually been stored on display in the kitchen for the last 35 years.
